Katie Grimes & Nevada State Bank

Go Grimes Go

In collaboration with Nevada State Bank, Braintrust created a broadcast spot celebrating World Champion and Olympic swimmer Katie Grimes as she prepared for the Paris Olympics. The inspirational piece highlights Katie’s determination, focus, and pride in representing her country, while showcasing Nevada State Bank’s support as her proud sponsor for her upcoming Olympic journey.

Meet Katie Grimes

The “Meet Katie” series is a social campaign designed to introduce Katie Grimes to a broader audience. While she’s remarkably young, driven, and full of potential, she was relatively unknown as a brand. This campaign offers a glimpse into her personality, showcasing the unique qualities that make her an inspiring athlete and individual.

Prepared & Disciplined

Building on the Katie Grimes content, these post-Olympics broadcast spots further solidify her role as a representative of Nevada State Bank. In the campaign, Katie draws a compelling parallel between swimming and managing finances, showcasing how focus, discipline, and preparation are key to success in both the pool and personal financial journeys.


The Mirage Hotel & Casino

The Mirage Hotel & Casino’s closing ceremony held on July 17, 2024, to honor the history and legacy of this first mega-resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

Media surrounding the closure accelerated throughout the month of July and included live broadcast remotes, walk and talks, archival photography missions from local, regional, national and international press. Day of coverage included a press line up and a special final property farewell from Mirage co-founder, Elaine Wynn.

Arm In Arm Campaign – PBS Commercials

The Arm In Arm Campaign’s outreach efforts were enhanced through the addition of a few animated commercial spots. Braintrust developed a short, impactful commercial emphasizing themes of community and health. Airing in both English and Spanish on PBS, the ad was designed to resonate with a younger audience or parents of young children, fostering a deeper connection with the community.

Arm In Arm Campaign – In-game Videos

The Arm In Arm Campaign reached every corner of the community, including local sporting events. Braintrust built strong partnerships with the UNLV basketball team and the Las Vegas Aviators, producing engaging videos that played during game breaks. The in-arena spots provided another meaningful way to connect with community members and share the campaign’s message where they were most engaged.


Nevada State Bank

Conversation with NSB

This video series for Nevada State Bank highlights the meaningful relationships they strive to build with their clients. Through thoughtful conversations, the series explores how NSB supports business owners at every stage—helping them start, stabilize, and grow their ventures. It also emphasizes the bank’s unique approach as a “big bank with a community feel,” showcasing their deep involvement in local communities while serving all of Nevada and beyond.


Nevada Attorney General

Affordable Housing

The Home Again Program is a government initiative designed to help individuals stay in their homes during times of financial hardship. Originally launched in response to the 2008 housing crisis, Braintrust played a key role in its initial success. When Aaron Ford assumed office as attorney general, Braintrust produced updated broadcast spots in both English and Spanish, effectively communicating the program’s mission and ensuring its continued impact.


The LINQ Hotel & Casino

Seeking a long-form video piece for use as part of their online brand-building campaign, The LINQ Hotel & Casino enlisted Braintrust to concept and produce a video that showcased the diverse deliverables of the Strip property and appeal to both a “party crowd” and a more conservative guest. The solution was a side-by-side juxtaposition to show everyone that their LINQ experience could be completely customized and the epitome of “You do You.”

El Cortez Hotel & Casino

A locals’ favorite casino in Downtown Las Vegas, Braintrust manages the broadcast production and media buying for the El Cortez. The locally broadcast TV spots highlight the deals and promotions of the casino and appeared on broadcast and outdoor video boards.

Mobbed Up

Embodying their Vintage Vegas feeling, Braintrust created and produced two radio spots for El Cortez in Downtown Las Vegas. Each script paid homage to their mobster heritage, while promoting their classic room accommodations, looser slots, and great service – born from the good ol’ days.

The Mob Museum

To capture essence of The Mob Museum brand, Braintrust wrote and produced a series of videos for the website homepage that allowed visitors to talk their way into a speakeasy, pick out a perp from a lineup, get interrogated, or dodge the media on the way to the courtroom.


Xyience Energy Drinks

The official energy drink of the UFC at the time, XYIENCE energy drinks selected Braintrust to concept and produce its broadcast advertising and manage its advertising budget across broadcast, print, digital, and OOH. The broadcast spots were aired on local and regional stations in nine markets across the United States and served to help increase Xyience sales by 17% YOY.


Wolfgang Puck

Braintrust managed the social media and digital strategy for Wolfgang Puck. As part of the campaign we created a new animated visual video identity to showcase featured Wolfgang recipes. The animations helped to increase the total number of organic impressions by 109% on Facebook, 13,413% on Twitter and 1,742% on Instagram.


Ethel M Chocolates

As the agency of record for Ethel M Chocolates, Braintrust manages the brand strategy, creative, and media buying for the division of MARS Chocolates. To showcase its holiday offerings, Braintrust concepted and produced this holiday spot with a special guest star from the North Pole.

#ActsOfSweetness

For Valentine’s Day, Braintrust created an experiential activation that would show how much joy a simple piece of chocolate could deliver. The Ethel M “ATM” allowed people to exchange acts of sweetness for Ethel M sweet treats. Luckily we had the cameras rolling and the video generated more than 600,000 online views on Facebook, YouTube, and other online channels.

#MothersDay

Mother’s Day is a vital sales period for Ethel M. To help them connect with their online audience, Braintrust concepted, wrote, produced and distributed this heart-warming digital video.

#VGKSuperFan

Ethel M is an official sponsor of the Vegas Golden Knights. Leveraging their presence at the T-Mobile Arena, Braintrust produced a viral video for social media that was low on budget, but high on hometown spirit.


Pahrump Tourism

Over the past five years, Braintrust has worked on behalf of the Town of Pahrump to create an integrated advertising campaign that would increase visitation to the rural community just 60 miles west of Las Vegas. Part of the campaign included a series of web videos that highlighted different aspects of the Pahrump experience. Our campaign has helped to increase Pahrump Room Tax revenues by more than 200%.


Luxe City Center Hotel

A boutique, independent hotel located directly across from L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles, Braintrust concepted and produced a property promotional video for use on website and digital media. The result was a lively and fun video that featured sights of the hotel and Downtown Los Angeles, and had an original music track.

V&T Railway

An iconic attraction in Northern Nevada, the V&T Railway is a period-authentic train ride that whisks guests back to frontier times while transporting them from Virgina City to Carson City. Braintrust worked with V&T Railway to concept and produce a new advertising campaign, including a new television spot to be used in digital and broadcast media. In addition, Braintrust manages the media buy for V&T across television, radio, print, and digital.
